JENNIFER L. COHEN, PARTNER

Jennifer Cohen is a Corporate Partner at Sklar Kirsh LLP. Jennifer’s experience as in-house corporate counsel, and finance background, brings practical business-world experience and strong insights into the needs and challenges clients face. This includes advising on M&A, equity investments, capital markets, commercial transactions, and corporate governance matters. She advises clients in a wide range of industries, including consumer products, media and entertainment, and sports.

Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer was corporate counsel to two sports and entertainment firms — Elevate Sports Ventures and VenueNext, an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, and an investment analyst at Citibank.

Cohen earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Economics, cum laude, from Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania where she concentrated in finance and business and public policy. The Nashville native also served as a judicial extern for the Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
